David Kosoy is an award-winning professional, specializing in the real estate and finance industries. David is the Chairman of M.Advisory Worldwide, a Sterling Group affiliated firm offering fiduciary and legal consultancy services in a variety of jurisdictions, including The Bahamas. He is also the Principal and President of Nassau-based New Providence Capital Management Ltd as well as the Executive Chairman, Founder, and Director of Sterling Global Financial.
For more than 50 years, David has been a leading force in the real estate and mortgage lending industries. He began his career as Principal of Brother Developments, where he worked from 1971 to 1991. In 1991 he co-founded Sterling Companies in Palm Beach, Florida, rising to become the co-CEO and Co-Chairman of the publicly listed Sterling Centrecorp Inc. from 2000-2007. In 2006, David transitioned to Principal and President of New Providence Capital Management Ltd – a Nassau-based, closed-end mortgage fund and direct lender.
At Ashton Woods U.S.A., one of the largest home builders in America, David is a Director where he contributes his professional knowledge, shrewd business sense, and insightful leadership.
David has a BA from the University of Akron in Ohio, where he had a full football scholarship and played as a guard and kicker for all four years of his college education. In 1966, during his Junior year, David made three field goals in one game, including the game-winning, 37-yard kick against Baldwin Wallace, shattering a 42-year-old university record. During his graduate school studies, David continued his love of sports on York University’s men’s hockey team where he was a provincial first-team all-star and member in 1969-70.
David has a law degree from Osgoode Hall Law School. He practiced law in Canada before returning to the United States.
